Mother Nature

The Perceptions Square

Humanity flourish in her lap,
Every joy blooms in her warmth.
Her glistening presence, her every giggle,
Ride on soothing winds to caress our restless souls.

O Mother, your divine beauty
Fills my heart with sheer bliss.
Your selfless love is beyond anyone to fathom.
You still holds me with your ailing grasp!

What have I done, O Mother!
To infuse pain in your veins.
I choked your lungs, I exploited your love,
Ignored your tears but you still persist to give!

Save the life infusing aroma
Of the wet earth in those rains by saving her!
Save the existence of all of us
By saving her soul flowing in ourveins!

Are you wandish; he laughed brazenly like a tall giraffe and the fern was vivid wasn’t she totem’d

hi there, he smiled; it’s nice to see you.

I realized at 23 I’m not forty.

She said she liked it with that red tang sauce; and no sausage; she said

it was a pin-stripe to think about like such as her dress;

and that she was friendly, too.

The swims were friendly and worth it afterwards your body felt so special

I said gripping his arm; to myself; I found a best friend for a life; for past life;

I’m not sure if we will have to pretend we’re together in another way.

Geez, she said; that’s…

If I can RECOVER, SO can YOU XOXO”

My recovery journey started in 2006. I woke up in a hospital as the result of another failed suicide attempt and then went back to an addiction and mental health crisis center for a 14-day stay. Bet Free Recovery Sharing Hope, Help & Recovery From Gambling Addiction, News & Resources.

….
I was invited a few years back to be interviewed by my friend Lisa Frederiksen for her fantastic informational recovery website.  I thought I would share some of my interview she did, as she was kind enough to do so and to have a new platform to raise awareness about how I learned to “break the cycle” of my gambling addiction and alcohol abuse as I began the road to long-term recovery.

I was honored and jumped on the chance, (lol) as she has helped many from addiction as a powerful advocate, speaker, and in writing as a popular author of several addiction/recovery books, like her newest title, “10th Anniversary Edition If You Loved Me, You’d Stop!: What You Really Need to Know When Your Loved One Drinks Too Much (1) available on Amazon online.

First, here is more about Lisa and our interview I so appreciated her…
