Many believe that our paths are laid out long before we are born and continue to another after we perish.

Is it true that our lives are predetermined? Is it right to say that we are puppets of a higher order?

In the world of Artificial Intelligence and robotics, the brain is coded to perform certain predetermined tasks. This system never deters from it’s command when it is left to perform since it doesn’t have conscience.

But with humans this may or May not be true. Let’s try to understand this.

There are 2 things predetermined for us- Life itself and death, the beginning and the end. There is no free will to control that. But everything in between is quite bewildering. When we were kids, we had so much faith on our parents. They were our Gods and no matter what, they protected us, fulfilled our needs. We had so much happiness in their company.

But as we grow up and get expose to knowledge of our surroundings, we tend to lose that faith with which we were born. We still love our parents but only able to convince ourselves in one or the other way that God doesn’t exist.

How true it is with humans, forget about machines.

Our eyes may see chaos right now but our hearts are not designed to act that way. It may tremble a bit but it will never forget what it has learnt, it has learnt to see the beauty.
