I’ve been bringing my family to Alaska for more than 25 years and I can tell you there’s lots of incredible scenery here in God’s creation; but my very favorite thing to see is God transforming hearts and lives as we saw this week through Samaritan’s Purse Operation Heal Our Patriots. We praise God that four from our group of wounded military service members and their spouses chose to be baptized by our chaplains in the ice cold waters of Lake Clark on Friday in obedience to God’s Word as a testimony of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ! Words aren’t adequate to express the joy! The Bible says, “Repent and be baptized every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”

(Acts 2:38).
