#1…God is not your King, you are. (This one is the most important one.) #2…You made love an emotion, not an action. #3…You made divorce an option before you ever got married. #4…You followed the advice of this world and got out when things got tough.
This is what it looks like to the world when we as Christians try to do anything without starting from Gods word. That includes anything and everything!!!
For those that are living life in rejection of Jesus Christ, you may want to start taking this scripture very serious. Killing full term babies and celebrating it is about as evil as it gets. I urge you to repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ alone.
About 99% of the people we talk to about Jesus Christ believe that they are going to heaven because they are good people. Our goodness will not bring us salvation. As a matter of fact the bible tells us that the best deeds of those who reject Jesus are like filthy rags to a holy God. God is holy and we are not. Just one sin separates us from God forever. Our only hope is the shed blood of Jesus Christ, His victory over death three days later, our recognition of our disgusting sin and our recognition of our need for a savior. That savior is Jesus Christ. Again, you will not receive salvation until you repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ.
If we could lose our salvation, we would lose it about 100 times a day or more. Jesus would have to be re-crucified every time you lost your salvation and then tried to attain it again. Once we are truly saved, we are sealed, we are a new creature, permanently.
Ephesians 1:13-14
13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.
