As Christians, we can clearly see the hypocrisy that is celebrated among the religion of humanism and the nasty fruit that comes from it, is destructive. Let us not fall into hypocrisy as those who claim to be ambassadors to Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 5:10 Carefully determine what pleases the Lord.
America is drinking the poison that Satan is serving up. Repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
As parents we have the opportunity to lead our children’s hearts and minds toward Christ or away from Christ. Sports and other activities are not a sin unless they are your idol/god. Just remember that sports and other activities in themselves have no eternal value. I pray that we as parents spend way more time teaching our children about Jesus Christ and the truth that someday they will stand before him and give an account of their lives, because this will have eternal consequences.
