This is the work of God in the soul, to disengage the heart from the Comforts of this world, and how contrary is a murmuring heart to such a thing! Something which is glued to another cannot be taken off, but you must tear it; so it is a sign your heart is glued to the world, that when God would take you off, your heart tears. If God, by an affliction, should come to take anything in the world from you, and you can part from it with ease, without tearing, it is a sign then that your heart is not glued to the world….
No matter the tribulations you face, don’t give into the pressure of other people trying to make you gossip, fight and say things that you don’t want to say. Stay strong and be a hard nut to crack. You’ll have to come to the realization that no matter how much you tell people your side of the story, they already have their mind made up on what they believe and don’t believe so just let it go. Letting go is hard! Really, really hard. But it’s definitely doable. If you have a spouse that you can lean on that would be your best medicine for healing. Someone that stands by you and just simply listens to you. Peace for your soul and keep your head in the Word, all the answers to your problems are laid out in your Bible.
It’s very sad and tragic that sometimes things have to come to this point in one’s life.
When people are cruel, fake, judgmental, they are filled with gossip, unforgiveness, malice, deception, lies, they constantly look down on you, they only want to be there in bad times for you and never want to speak to you when times are good, what ever the circumstances may be that you face, it is truly a disgrace that you have to mull over decisions like this in life.
Whatever decision that you come to in life you need to own it and you need to get past the regretsies and the guilty conscience of moving on from people in your life that suck the life force out of you and the one’s around you and finally make a choice to live.
This to me means that when you cut someone out of your life that you continue to pray for them and wish them well and pray for blessings to be bestowed upon them in life. I know it is a hard thing to do to for people that bring you nothing but grief and pain in life, but praying for them no matter how egregious they have been to you is uplifting.
One day you may see the fruits of your prayers work miracles in these relationships of life.
But if you ever resuscitate these relationships or if you never speak again, always be a well wisher to them.
This is a real life conversation I’ve had with someone. And the response was that if someone did any drug weed, meth, heroin, prescription drugs, they all deserve to die. Across the board any user = death. Just like wow! Wow! This is the tragic and sad mentality of some people out there. I have hope that anyone taken down the horrible spiral of drugs of any kind that one day they will spiral up to where they’re supposed to be. Time, everything in life takes time. Some people will get saved and some people tragically will not. There is hope for everyone and there is eternal hope in Jesus. I agonize for people that lead this kind of lifestyle and implore the Holy Spirit to touch them and lift them up into the light of Jesus.
