This is so true because you have so many people who meet their spouses in their late thirties. And it’s like, why didn’t I meet you ten plus years ago? I could have been happier longer, instead I had to be unhappy with so many others. You feel good for meeting the person in your life, but hurt that so much of your life is already gone and can never be retrieved.

Oh so true! In fact I did meet Michael in 1996 we began dating and it was magical. His old girlfriend called at some point in our relationship and told him she was pregnant. Needless to say, I got thrown to the side and he broke it off with me to marry her. Well, 18 years later we reconnected and married. So yes I would have been so happy over the time had we stayed together. Spot on my friend, spot on!
