My experience was someone shunned my husband out and he reached out to them over and over and over again. Being young he held a grudge against my husband and when he wanted to make up and move forward well he already passed away by then. The other person now is guilt-ridden for their actions, but it is too late for any kind of reconciliation now. Very unfortunate.

What if the other person? Does it mean to let self be taken advantage?
