How important education is to me…

I think that knowledge is something that you can never take away from someone.  My husband always says it’s not about the knowledge you have but applying your knowledge.  Applied knowledge is power. As far as education I think it is extremely important to accomplish something in your life be it whatever you do. A certificate for cutting hair, an electrician, a plumber, phlebotomist, a lawyer, a doctor, whatever your flavor may be.  I think it is about that you love what you do and do something you want to do.  So education is key to oneself.

Water safety training is a necessity for children with autism

Yoshiko

I do love swimming and I ever drowned in the swimming pool during my toddlerhood. Surprisingly, I just jumped into the pool and my butt hits the floor of the pool silently. I do not move. Sitting silently in the pool.

When I couldn’t breath, I breath in the water. Oh, it was a water so I breath it out and see bubbles. Strange that I get fascinated with such sight. This perspective was an unforgettable event.

At the other end of the pool, my cousins and sister signaled to my mum. Thank God for my mother to quickly picked me out of the pool. Thereby, I can testify that Water safety training is a necessity for children with autismreally is true. Thus it is necessary for the autistics to learn to swim.

There are more laughable yet drowning events. During my childhood to learn to swim coached by…

Great day!

Saint P. Blogging

My husband replaced my sub pubic catheter yesterday.   It wasn’t letting urine flow through it like normal.  Been feeling a little ill for a couple of days.  He removed it to discover that the part that was inside my body had started to crystallize again.

Got up this morning to find that my right ankle / foot which had been swollen for several days was back to normal.  It hadn’t hurt or anything, so I wasn’t too worried about it.  Think the swelling was caused by a weather front that moved through over night.

Called and placed order with Merwin Home Medical for two replacement catheters.   Just wish their web site still enabled me to place order directly from the web page.  Let the lady know that it was not a rush situation, since I have one spare left in the house.  Just do not like to risk…
