If your blog is work…

Just a thought

If you feel your blog is work

There is definitely something wrong.

I love what I do.

I have done some work for free.

I love every minute of what I do.

I love seeing other people’s art, photos, poems, writing, reviews…

It is so nice that you can be a somebody in this world

With the technology available to us now.

There is not a person that is a nobody

Unleash your magic unto the world.

Much Love

Love The Skin Your In

It took a long time for me to see me as the best.
Thanks so much!

The hashtag “love the skin your in” really got me thinking about my own personal hang ups…that are only my hang ups. Why is it that people often see the best in others but don’t see the best in themselves? So today’s blog is purely therapeutic in nature for me. I’m going to name 10 things that I think I do well or feel good about myself. Narcissistic sounding I know…but all cathartic. (I’m sitting in the sun relaxing and my brain won’t quit running…so you get this post.) Several days this week I wanted to focus on the negative having that “glass is half empty” mentality. That stops right here. So let’s do this….

1. Smile. I love my smile. I love that my smile truly changes my face and makes others smile. You know you get just as many wrinkles scowling or frowning…so why the heck not smile!

Sitting Still

Daria's avatarJesus Blog

Right now, my whole life is sitting still…see when you have no patience as I do, eventually you be lead to sit still.

A good example of this is when my son keeps losing the house keys. He has lost them about 3 or 4 times. In recent event, he’s forgotten my daughter’s at his grandfather’s. Then, he lost the spare. Needless to say, I am fed up. He done all of this in less than 6 months.

Not to confuse patience with tolerance. I have neither at this point. Tolerance is the level at which you handle irritants. Patience (and we’re talking about “Believer” patience) is being able to conduct yourself consistently the same despite the circumstances. Patience produces the levels of tolerance you operate in. We do this by walking in love.

Walking in Love

What it doesn’t mean you are blind or oblivious to what’s going on…

Hollow goodbye

Lightning strikes at Wiesbaden Sonnenberg

We just had a storm a couple nights ago. Far and few between in the desert. I wish for more storms. I lived in Oklahoma where they were plentiful. Now I’m in Arizona and I cherish every storm we get.

Sacred simplicity of Lake Holon

Love this!

Ton's avatarTonSanity

IMG_1700 In the midst of complexity of life, I found the opposite whenever I wander to places I’ve never thought I will be. In the first place, I never thought of staying in Mindanao for the longest time I have ever been away from home. But in this point of my life when I realized what kind of paradise I must have been in; especially the kind of paradise I lived in Lake Holon.

When we planned to visit Lake Holon, I never expected anything to experience more than I even expected. All the purpose I brought with me was to get away from the busy district of Davao. In fact, I didn’t even actually know that this lake exists; only to find out that it’s one of the must-visit lakes in the country. It was closed for sometime, for uncertain reason, and was reopened last March to let travellers and…
