The best journeys are those that not only let you see the beauty of the world but also let you discover the beauty in yourself.
I got to explore the stunning Calaguas Island and it was an experience I will never forget. The journey along the literal “long and winding road” to Daet, Camarines Norte, the wondrous beauty of the island, and spending the night under the stars have all brought me into deep thoughts of reflection. Seeing beauty like this shouldn’t have to be confined to taking trips to amazing places. It should happen more often with us looking within ourselves.
