Elephant ear plants

We bought two of these plants last year and planted them a foot or more apart. Well this year they just exploded. They took over the portion where we planted the two. So I’m really happy with them and glad they do spread. We had poison oak and ivy here when we moved in and it vined all the way up on the house so it’s officially been replaced. Very happy with the results. YEAH!

Come back

When you’re ready,
Come back.
You were the only,
One,
Who made me happy,
With you,
I felt good,
Now without you,
I’m left to brood over heartbreak.
To live without you is what I can never learn how to,
To love another one is what I don’t know if I’ll ever.
I just want me and you to be together,
Forever,
Just like I promised earlier.
Tell me what went wrong,
And I’ll do it right,
Just let me know you’ll come back,
When the time is right.

Eating the foods of a trap.

Sometimes I just want to throw caution to the wind,

And forget that me and you ever happened.

But at times I just wish I never knew of your faults,

Never learnt of the truth.

Maybe that way I’d still be knowing,

You’re the impeccable I once knew.

This is a problem I’ve talked of in my previous poem,

Yet I forgot to mention that I am also too forgiving,

That I overlook mistakes easily,

I assume that man is to err,

And everyone is deserving of a second chance.

I want to believe that our misunderstanding

Was but…
