“I know I’m not strong enough to be everything that I’m supposed to be — I give up! I’m not strong enough. Hands of mercy, won’t you cover me — Lord, right now I’m asking you to be strong enough, strong enough, for BOTH OF US!” — Strong Enough, Matthew West

I’ve felt this way for years now. Sad how we learn to live with things unpleasant, yet familiar.

You are exactly strong enough to be what you were supposed to be. Even when it doesn’t feel like it. You have reserves of strength you don’t even know about. Hang tight to those, and invent hope where there seems to be none.
You can do this. Don’t give in to the pessimism.
