Amazing how almost everyone jumped in to defend the woman they thought was being abused yet they all laughed when the man was being abused. That’s why my ex was believed when she abused me but told everyone that I was the abuser, in order to get sympathy she lied about our relationship. The only one she told the truth to was my boss in order to get me fired for being weak.

  My son is currently going through abuse he’s got a fat lip and bites on him and bruises. He’s been together with her six months and he said it’s hard to walk away from an abuser. So it’s definitely a real thing men go through. I guess I can’t attach pictures to my comments I would pass them along to you if I could. It’s scary! I’m sorry for what you went though that’s a shame.

    It’s ok, getting out wasn’t easy but it was definitely worth it. Tell your son that if he really wants to escape the abuse there are lots of ways to do it, as long as he has some access to money of his own. I had to squirrel some away a little at a time until I had enough to put as many miles as I could between me and my ex, she’s moved 3 times since then twice with my son, then I won a court hearing for sole custody and she was pissed at that. Since then I’ve only seen her once and the venom that still drips out of her mouth while she’s smiling and talking quietly so only I could hear. She was stunned when I told her to leave me the hell alone and believe me that felt like such a big deal for me to do, but I’m glad I did it because I’ve had no contact since.

  Women get away with a lot! And that’s a bloody shame. Men always get the short end of the stick.
