I wanted to share with all of you this kitchen hack that I learned by accident and I wish I would have learned this long ago.

You will need these two items.  Bleach I use great value bleach not the Clorox and bar keepers friend.

I took some video of the pans I cleaned with it to show you how easy this is to do.  I use this on everything that requires scrubbing in the kitchen.  If they are really bad and caked on and burned, I do the hack I showed in my videos and I let it sit overnight and the next day I turn the water on and rinse and voila it’s like a magic scrubbing fairy, just magically done.

Like I had stated earlier I didn’t soak these but for twenty minutes.  My children are due home any minute so I need to get dinner underway but if you let them soak longer the results are astounding.  I thought I was imagining the first couple times I did this by accident and then I thought to myself OMG I’m on to something with this.  People need to know.  No more brillo pads, razor blades, killing yourself with brute strength, boiling dishes with water trying to get it to unstick.  You won’t be disappointed in this life hack.  I don’t usually share things like this but to me, this one is worth sharing the wealth of information.

  1. Usually I don’t read post on blogs, but I wish to say that this write-up very forced me to try and do it! Your writing style has been surprised me. Thanks, very nice post.

  2. You could certainly see your skills in the work you write. The world hopes for more passionate writers like you who are not afraid to say how they believe. Always follow your heart.

    1. Yes to me it was an accidental godsend. It worked once and I thought I was hallucinating. Then another day I had another pot that was pretty badly gummed up and I figured I would try it and see what happened and it worked?! So I figure it’s a thing people might like to know. I’m only getting older (hehe) easier is better for sure. I used to use brillo pads, razor blades, tried boiling my burned crap off and voila accidental miracle. I’m glad you enjoyed the FYI.

  3. Excellent! My husband could have used this knowledge the other day after I completely annihilated a pan. I was simmering a ragu with penne pasta in a tomato hamburger sauce and forgot that the buzzer went off. [I was writing in my blog – LOL] The pan had soot and penne pasta glued to the bottom. Hubby said he spent one hour working on the pan. It couldn’t be scrubbed with Brillo because of the coating on it.
