There is usually a huge lack of communication in most conflicts. This stems from people being hard headed or set in their ways to listen to the others involved. Each stake holder has a different perspective, and their situations are dictated by their life experiences. Issues such as: cultural identity, background, social engagement, psychological and emotional issues, and outside forces influence decision making capabilities.

The biggest problem we face is a lack of communication in our lives. We expect others to know what we need and what we want, when in reality, I have to make the effort to explain my point of view or bad things can happen. This is especially true in relationships, if we are not consistently discussing and working on our communication, it can be seen as not making an effort or losing interest, when in reality, this is not the case.
