This tiny acorn fell from its Oak tree and landed at my feet in front of Starbucks where Ryan and I were relaxing with iced coffee and cookies after his first day of High School.  We decided there must be a connection between the potential for growth in both the acorn and a young freshman that is stronger than mere coincidence so this little nut is now part of Ryan’s good luck charm collection reminding him of all the exciting things ahead as he grows and learns about the world.

The Invisible Realm

Warm summer day, beauty abounds, elementals dance among the leaves,

More in nature than air, water, cattails and trees, much more to perceive,

Human reality beyond five senses awakens to invisible realm, does conceive,

Nature’s sweet music not for ears, heralds Spirits of Light that interweave

With loving hearts, understanding minds, open arms willing and ready to receive.

Whilst back in my home town the other evening my parents and my boyfriend went for a meal at Petit Delight in Cleethorpes.

Petit Delight is a French restaurant which says that it ‘draws authentic influences from Parisian café, French bistro and family restaurant cultures’ and I have to agree.

There was an ample drinks menu ranging from wine to jugs of Pimms as well as a incredible sounding food menu which you can view here: Menu.

However, as a vegetarian I have to admit that I wasn’t hugely impressed with the options available as the only vegetarian main course was Tarte aux oignons caramélisés et brie. Luckily I quite fancied this but more than one vegetarian main would have been extra nice.

This was the tart which really was deliciously and came with an impressively tasty salad. I will admit I am really not a courgette person, but the courgette…

I have found a lot of stupidity of anxiety

just let the brotherhood,
be the last standing politically incorrect group.
