    1. That is true. I think that people can try to understand other people’s circumstances even if they are quite different from their own and even empathize with them. But, it is impossible to fully relate to experiences unless you also have them. For example: I can feel sorry for a woman’s pain and discomfort in being pregnant for nine months and then giving birth, but me being a man will never have that experience or the joy when it’s finally over.
