We don’t forgive because the act being forgiven is acceptable, we forgive because:
*God command us to forgive.
*We’ve been forgiven.
*If we don’t forgive, we won’t be forgiven.
*When we forgive, our souls are released from bitterness & anger.

“But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:15

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Ephesians 4:31-32
