Finger surgery again

Today was good.  I had my surgery to have the metal taken out of my finger.  My healing process is still underway.  My husband, Michael, was by my side today and I had a nice relaxing feeling of calm that he provided for my aura today.  That matters a lot to me.  

The skin is so tender and painful to the touch a very raw feeling of pain like someone took a vegetable peeler to my finger.  If I bump my finger the pain is excruciating.  That gasping for breath I want to double over and pass out from pain.  

Baby steps going forward healing day by day.  I do appreciate people caring and checking on me to see how my progress is coming along.  I appreciate all the prayers and positive thoughts sent my way as well.  Now my biggest challenge is to regain mobility in my finger or they will do a full on finger amputation.  I guess only time will tell where my new life with this injury leads.
