  Yes both my parents are from Croatia. Mom is from Bosnia & Herzegovina and my dad is from Split. I was almost born there but they immigrated in 1974. And went through the process of becoming US citizens. They are very proud Americans now. They always tell me to cherish that I am a citizen here. My first language was Croatian. My husband is learning Croatian now to 🙂
