I’ve been using this store for years now getting oil changes and tires for our cars. As of recent I watched a video of Scotty Kilmer’s on doing better for your cars with better filters and oil changes.
For the last two oil changes, I got one for my son and one on my husband’s truck on separate days of course.
My son’s car was the first one. We bought the filter, Lucas oil treatment, and oil and went and changed into Walmart and shopped and paid and picked the car up when it was done. Well after we were done and gone the technician “placed” (THREW) the leftover oil in the back of his car on the floor with the cap off. His floor is ruined, he had a pair of gym shoes ruined, and a few items he had on the floorboard were all ruined. This has been a couple months now and he is still trying to figure out how to get the oil SPILL out of his carpet. It is so bad.
Then fast forward to the next month with my husband’s truck. We did the same thing bought the filter, Lucas engine oil treatment, and oil and brought it to Walmart. After we got done he paid and we went to the truck to drive off. He got in and there was oil all over the steering wheel and the door. I mean caked on oil. It was so bad. He cleaned it off the best he could until we got him and then he could really clean it. He is a hospice Chaplain and wears nice clothes and yes this is what they did.
My conclusion after these two incidents is if you bring your own supplies this Walmart in Butler Missouri will punish you for doing just that. Sad state of affairs but it seems to be reality.
It is sad that they seem to go out of their way to ruin vehicles without care for the property they seem to deliberately damage.
NEVER had I had a problem with oil changes here in about four years now until I brought them supplies.
The people that actually check us in at this Walmart are the most pleasant people ever. I always enjoy the customer service I get there. I wish I could remember their names an older lady just lovely and another man that checks us in.
Other than that an always five-star experience just went downhill with the technicians they had servicing our car with oil changes. Just so sad.
I love to use this location because the Nevada, MO Walmart is always so busy, nice people there but super busy.
Then the Fort Scott, KS Walmart it just seems like there is always a lady there that is just rude and doesn’t want to be bothered with customer service at checking you in for service.
Just be warned if you bring your own supplies to the Butler, MO Walmart expect your vehicle to be maliciously vandalized in some form.
