Neat hearing about the newspaper The Budget, Family Life, Blackboard Bulletin and Farmers Almanac . I learned a lot such as no pictures for obituaries. U like the term “Keepers of the Home”. Although not Mennonite my wife was stay at home mom for all the years our kids were at home.
The Amish do sound like a beautiful, pure, wholesome way of life. I didn’t know about the persecution for faith a few centuries ago. Thank you for sharing.
