Does anyone else live by to-do lists? I make one at work for the rest of the week on my days off. I call it my ta-da list. I’ve been feverishly working every single week and I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I have one large project, okay two large projects to do still. To replace the tub surround and to finish up my kitchen floor.
I will tackle tasks one at a time. That’s the power of a good ta-da list. It helps me stay organized and efficient without feeling overwhelmed.
Overall, making ta-da lists helps me be more productive and less stressed. It’s a simple yet effective tool that anyone can use to improve their life.
It may seem silly to some, but having a list gives me direction and purpose. It helps me focus on what needs to be done and gives me a sense of accomplishment when I can cross things off.
Plus, it helps me prioritize what’s important to me and make time for the things I love.
I encourage you to try it out for yourself. Make a ta-da list for this week, or even just for today. Start with the small things, like making your bed or doing a load of laundry. Then work your way up to the bigger things.
Remember, taking care of ourselves should always be a top priority, and start conquering those tasks one by one.
Facebook unpublished my husband’s church page for no reason whatsoever. He’s never had a violation or anything on there. This is the second Sunday now that his page remains unpublished. Hume United Methodist Church, Hume MO just poof gone at the will of Facebook.
It’s not just frustrating, it’s downright unfair. Facebook’s algorithm seems to be flawed and their customer service is non-existent. It’s unacceptable that a platform as large as Facebook would operate with such disregard for its users.
But unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. Many businesses and individuals have faced similar unjustified punishments from Facebook. It’s time for Facebook to take responsibility and fix their platform.
In the meantime, let’s stick together and support those who have been affected by Facebook’s negligence. It’s important that we amplify our voices and shed light on the unacceptable actions of this social media giant. We can’t let them silence us.

I personally have not used Fakebook in over a year or more. But for our small church, this page has helped so much. My husband appealed the decision but they have not republished his page as of today.

Sad so very sad. This is not the America I grew up in. Where voices can’t be heard. Journalists can’t journal. Preachers can’t preach. But the loony toons of the world get a platform every which way they turn. The AI’s are being run by demoncrats. I am sure if you put a topic into the AI that the left disagrees with it probably will not cooperate with you.
All 30 of our chickens were murdered and my husband surprised me with all new chickens last weekend. Not babies but full-grown laying chickens.
The loss of our previous flock was devastating, but my husband’s thoughtful gesture brought hope back to our homestead. We spent time getting to know our new chickens and learning about their individual personalities. It’s amazing how these tiny creatures have come to mean so much to us.
Now, we must take steps to ensure their safety and security. We’ve researched to build a stronger and more secure coop. It’s a small investment to ensure the well-being of our feathered friends and the sustainability of our egg production. It’s heartwarming to see the new chickens settling in and already providing us with fresh, delicious eggs. We know that taking care of them is not just a responsibility but also a privilege. These chickens are integral to our family and homestead. We will continue to do everything in our power to protect and cherish them.
