Still battling flooding :/

Welp, I’m still battling flooding. There is no end in sight for me. My husband thinks he figured out the why behind it because in four years this has never happened to us ever. The city is having fiber installed and they just did our home a couple of weeks ago and he said when they drilled the whole house vibrated. Our home is built in 1900. He thinks that the vibrations shifted our home and that’s why everything in the basement has been leaking like this. When I say everything I mean everything. Every hairline crack possible is leaking water and everywhere. This is a battle that I feel like we are losing. Every penny I have spent trying to fix our basement. This is just breaking us. We finally got all three of our kids moved into different areas of the house and of course, they protested big time because they love their room but we can’t anymore do this with them trying to set up camp down there. They’ve been sleeping upstairs but now they are moved into rooms upstairs so it’s more permanent. UGH, life. Got to love it. I am just really feeling down about everything but am pushing through. Literally, every extra penny we’ve had went to this basement and it feels like we are making no headway whatsoever. Every time it seems like we might have it under control it’s like a few hours later we go check and nope we are back to square one. This basement is literally consuming all my off time. The drilling that they did by our home is the only thing that makes any kind of sense. In four years we have NEVER EVER had a problem like this. I really feel like that is the why behind everything that is going on in our home. My husband and I are working round the clock in the basement and trying to reclaim some kind of normalcy in our home.
