Question is: Is the narrative ‘kids are bad for the planet’ the cause or the effect?
This also makes one think of the beautiful ones in the mice paradise experiment. Where you put mice in a welfare state and they stop reproducing. Cause and effect is hard to disentangle. Often the narrative follows the reality.
