Winds of Change…

I watched that heavy door begin to close….
all the while the winds above me rose…..
The years whisper and whistle back into my ear…..
the memories haunted by sorrows and fear….

With a new day it finally dawned on me….
the past needed locking and I had the key…..
Leave it behind, leap…

I woke up this morning only because I had a nightmare.

I hate when my dreams are based on my fears, anxiety and past trauma.

I was so filled with panic, rage and fear that I had to fight my way out of my sleep.

There I am kicking out into awareness and I hear a tentative meowing.

I wake up in the dark. Coming to realize that it was just a dream. That I might have punted Daisy clear across the room.

Fuck me sideways!

I murmured an apology reach for the light and the alarm.

I didn’t set my alarm last night. I went to bed early because my demon spawn Daisy decided not to let me sleep the night before 😡

I stared at my iPad in confusion. Then laughed.

I went in search of Daisy. Found her on her cat tree, sleeping.

Huh.

Well played universe…

Coworker was playing WAP while I was on break. I began to sing along.

He glanced at me sceptically “Becky, do you even know what WAP means?”

I scoffed “I knew what WAP was when you were in diapers! It’s wet ass pussy”

He stared at me scandalized “it’s so explicit”

Um ok. Should have listened to the stuff I listened to back
“But it tastes so good” he remarked.

I looked up from sandwich and grimaced. “Gross I don’t want to hear about what you and your ex girlfriend did!”

I shuddered at the mental picture.

“No Becky!” He protested.

“Well she is the only you’ve been with so..” I went back to eating.

I had that song stuck in my head all day.

“Seven days a week certified freak” I sang as I walked up the stairs “wet ass pussy make that pull out game weak”

“Oh my…

“Start the day with the smile!”

“Smiles are free!”

“Can I get a smile with that?”

I have never been so happy to wear a mask in my life! I don’t have to hear this bullshit while I am working!

A person doesn’t owe you a smile or anything just because you demand it!

A person has positive energy and attitude they don’t have to smile 😊

Another best thing about a mask? No makeup. (I don’t wear it anymore) and you can mouth “fuck you” to someone if they are rude.

But I think wearing a mask is the best thing we can do right now.
