Psalm 1:2-3; “but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on His law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither-whatsoever they do prospers.” (emphasis mine)
As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and the despair that comes with chronic physical issues, I have always loved the writings of King David. I read a chapter in Psalms each day and when I get to the end, I begin again. I think anyone who has known deep pain can relate to King David, he is always brutally raw and utterly honest with God.
