A special request from me to y’all

Making a special request. I wanted to see if I can get people to mail our son some mail of encouragement. He’s 18 just started out in life in a state that he’s not close to us. He’s got no family where he is at and now wasn’t the bestest time to get on a plane and go follow dreams because we didn’t have a crystal ball and could foresee this pandemic taking over our lives. Needless to say he is still unemployed and has been almost homeless a few times. He’s come to realize that people really aren’t there to help you like they saw they are. Anyway I just wanted to see if people would want to just send him mail letters of encouragement. I know he’s down in the dumps and I keep praying for him I’ll never stop that aspect of parenting you know. But I wanted to do something for him that might put a smile on his face and show him that there are really people that care. Yes he has been far from perfect. His father died in 2012, he’s been thrown out of schools, been down a road with marijuana, been on the outs with depression in his teenage years while at home. I just think he is at that turning point in life where he is ready to make this happen. He’s actively looking for work, looking for an apprenticeship anything he said he’s even willing to travel with someone to work in any trade, he’s searching for happiness, attended a church service by his own will last Sunday, realizing that everything that he was told while growing up is ringing true now, all the advice that once upon a time fell on deaf ears are actually making sense to him now. So I just think this would be an uplifting thing for him right now it’s pretty petty and trivial but to him I think it’d be the world.
