Pain was dooming Chad VanCamp. He had just turned 40 and for no explainable reason, pain attacked his back and spine.

“I was horribly irritable. My family was shocked at how I flipped from ‘fun Daddy’ to ‘miserable old man’.”

For six years Chad tried everything – injections, exercises, medications, and consults with doctors. The pain got worse, keeping him from sports with his kids, outdoor hobbies, and even made his days at work as a product manager for Garmin feel extremely long.

Chad had heard of RMC neurosurgeon Dr. William Rosenberg from his pain management doctor.

“I realized I needed a miracle so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Rosenberg. I had no idea what a miracle this would be.”

After an evaluation and some tests, Dr. Rosenberg implanted a spinal cord stimulator (SCS) device.

And quicker than ever expected, Chad got his life back. He credits his family, his faith in God, Dr. Rosenberg, and the creator of SCS.

Now, when Chad meets someone going through a battle with pain, he always tells them “you need my guy . . . you need Dr. Rosenberg
