What happens when you’re pulled over and polite and nice to police.  Nothing!  You go on about your day after the stop is over.  He was also confused by the handshake and “thank you for your service, stay safe and have a good day.”   Officers are very nice and just doing their job.  PS it also helps if you are an upstanding citizen.  Good lesson learned for the kiddos as well.
