I have more respect for someone who votes for something I am opposed to than for someone who either says ‘I can’t be bothered, they are all the same’ or (when said in insufferably self-righteous way)’I don’t have to vote if I don’t want to (well don’t whinge if you get stuck with a govt you hate)
Footnote: In the UK we have a fine tradition of voting against one party to stop them getting in, and hoping the other lot will do a better job…..It’s a one type of democracy….

If someone does not vote they have no business complaining about the resultant government. Form your own party if you must.
