I dreamed I married my ex
but I couldn’t call it a nightmare.
In spite of my tears,
I saw it all so clear.
It was nice,
comforting even,
to see his familiar face again,
to feel the softness of his skin
and to savor the sweetness of his kisses.

It all came running back,
a sprinter in the marathon of pain,
as hurdles of confusion lay forgotten.

Today’s picture is another of my accidental photos.  Snapped as I was struggling to cram my phone into the appropriate pocket of my purse this morning, there’s something abstract about it that I quite like, despite the grainy quality.

Meanwhile, I’m still trying to figure out how in the heck I opened my camera app without touching my screen…
