“WHAT YOU SEEK IS SEEKING YOU”

If you were to ask an Iranian who is the most revered poet, you’d likely hear Hafez. However, it seems Rumi has taken North America – perhaps the west in general, by storm. Rumi was my first introduction to anything Persian.  I have a translation by Coleman Barks, The Big Red Book, a 488 page collection of Rumi’s most mystical and romantic poems.

I live by these words, and on a rainy, wet, breezy day like today (what’s going on, Toronto?!), positivity is more important then ever.
