Finding Downtime

Hello, lovely people! Hope everyone is well and relaxed, getting ready for the weekend.

So I have disclosed before on my blog that I am currently working full time. Its a summer job that will turn into a part time job when September rolls around and I am back at school. Its a pretty sweet deal.

I love my job. I love that I have a daily routine and a cubicle.  I love the people, their kindness, humor, enthusiasm – its all made this transition into an easier and enjoyable one. But this lifestyle is really new to me. Waking up at dawn, spending nearly eight hours in an office.

Its eight hours out of my day that are not my own. Eight hours that belong to my employer and coworkers. It is a scary thought when you put…
