I have had a strong desire to visit Washington DC and explore the museums there for nearly two years. I’ve talked about it, imagined it and longed to go.
My friend Alicia lives fairly close and I have mentioned it to her several times; planning possible times and ways I could make the trip happen.
I remember specifically, Thanksgiving before last, when Forrest went home, and I had to stay in Charlotte for work, being particularly fixated on my hopes to travel there. After speaking with my friend about it I announced I would come in the Spring of last year, but ended up visiting my family and friends in Chattanooga and had to put it off, still holding out hope it would take place soon.
