While my husband was working one time he stop with his big truck at the Wal-Mart in Honesdale, PA with his 18 wheeler car hauler. He was out and looking at the truck, checking this over, etc… One person drove up to him and asked him if he needed help and told him that people don’t help people like you around here. He was like ummmm no I didn’t need help just waiting on a ride and got in his big truck and stayed there until his ride came and picked him up.

Racism and hate exist and are very real topics in life. Unless you have walked the walk you will never know how it feels to be in those situations.

This is where my husband and I experienced the most racist experience ever by the waitress of course. It made me think we were in the panhandle of Florida or something?!
We walked in and waited to be seated. She seated everyone that came in after us. Then my husband asked her if she was going to seat us. She said oh I didn’t know you needed help. Ummm yes we are just standing here for nothing. Clue #1.

Then we were seated. No drink orders nada. He had to call her again and ask her to take our order. Then of course we ordered our food. No refills, she didn’t check up on us to see if we needed anything. When our order came out she gave us the check?! My husband was like really.

Then when he paid her he gave her a $100.00 and the bill was like 50’ish. She never came back with CHANGE! He had to get up and ask her for the change and she told him oh I didn’t think you needed any.
Like seriously that large of a tip for being this rude and racist to us. NO TIP!

Needless to say we never went back there again.

The really sad thing is that there are a lot of people that still feel that strongly about these issues to this day. In their warped eyes it is still illegal punishable by death. Sad but indeed very true.
